It’s crazy that something that seems so basic can be so challenging!! Definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone

Must be nice to be surrounded by supportive people like this

THis is a bigger than milestone than learning early tricks, IMO. You get such a huge sense of freedom from being confident that you can ollie up and down curbs with no worries about bailing.

It's amazing how hard skateboarding tricks are until they aren't lol. I get mental block every time I'm trying to commit to something new, you're like "I'm never going to be able to learn this" and then all of a sudden you do. Fun to watch others go through the learning process. I prefer it to the "How to" video done by someone who is already an expert. It's better to watch the expert teach someone else.

I know this is an old video but I was having a bad day, and turned this on from my feed. It inspired me to go skate and now I feel better.

Thanks Braille

Super inspiring. I'm working on this exact trick right now, definitely learning to ollie one of the most difficult parts of skating, but it opens a lot of doors once you learn it. Thanks for your hard work and the inspiration

That is some high quality hair dye! The colors are so deep and vibrant! and I love how left side colors blend together and the right side colors blend together. Congrats on your first "ollie up a curb!"

Love these kind of vids. Seeing others go through these mental wars like I do with new tricks or things I’ve only done a few times !! This is awesome to watch especially when they get the victory!! Keep posting this kind of stuff please guys!!!

The scariest thing is when you get so comfortable doing a little pop up small curbs and then every once in a while your trying to just pop up a little curb and your not even thinking about it cause you've done it 1000 times and your back truck hangs up and you go flying unexpectedly.

This is very inspiring, I have the same problem. I hope that this video is enough to encourage me to push through

Awesome..It is difficult I only ever managed it like twice..Having another go now with a cruiser board at the ripe age of 46..just to make cruising easer to get over obstacles

Loving seeing you progress, keep it up keep at it Jenise. We all suffer the “ I can’t do it’s “ but remember the feeling/buzz you get when you push through and land a new trick that’s what it’s all about .

I love these videos with Jenise!! I have the same issue with committing and my back foot immediately goes to the ground once I’m on the box. This definitely gave me motivation to go back and try again!

I ollied on my very first try, on a cruiser, fairly high, and I'm 57, but still can't ollie over a curb..takes a lot of practice..I'll get it down eventually, thanks for the vid..
