I love the candidness of the conversation between Gordon and Bruce Wayne at the very end. Like neither of them state outright that Bruce is Batman but neither of them are pretending otherwise even a little tiny bit. It’s a really unique vibe for their friendship because usually Gordon prefers a bit more plausible deniability (probably so he wouldn’t ever have to testify against him). Just meaning he goes out of his way to dance around it a bit more even than Bruce. He has airs to maintain that Batman doesn’t. Like in the most recent detective comics where he pulls Batman from the harbor and brings him back to his apartment to treat his wounds, but turns off the lights to bandage his face, explaining that “he thinks he knows who’s under there but he doesn’t want to know.” He wants to keep those things separate, so to speak.

I’m just glad a concept like this has been done. I know the whole solo vigilante with a few super friends here and there concept is fun but practically speaking Batman can’t be everywhere

I guess Batman is ignoring the fact in his early years he used a fucking gun, shit he had a chaingun on the Batplane. Oh and let's not forget him hanging and killing a dude from said plane. Also crushing someone to death in a garbage truck.
