Definitely a great mixer! It may seem like a small update compared to all the other new introduced features, but the channel select buttons for the effects it's something huge for me. I never liked the knob all the other mixers have. And also the booth eq is a nice addition that can make a huge difference sometimes when the booth monitors aren't great.
Personally, I just don't like how wide it is. I would have kept the mic section smaller, but maybe it's just me and I'm sure other people will find that section useful the way it is.
Overall, definitely a good improvement in (almost) every way. Can't wait to try it out!!

I do think in a club setting that the center lock function will pretty quick break to be honest.

The two headphone cueing is definitely sick for djs playing b2b but in reality most of the times u can work it with one cue

Would love to see more mixer adopt the input matrix of the DB4. Copying channels for effects is very powerful both dj-ing and producing.

it's incredible that they don't add the 4 knobs like the V10 for controlling mid and low bass and the equalizer for hi-mid-low in the master output. They always remove some important feature so you have to buy the more expensive unit. With those two things it would be the perfect all round mixer with no competition.

The HID mode Serato Dj pro is free with the DJM900, why it isn't with the DJM A9

Do we need anything beyond a DENON Prime 4? For the price and feature I don’t see why 90% of DJs need to invest over $7000 for a full Pioneer set.

Looks like an excellent mixer and a well needed upgrade, definitely happy about all the extras, a mixer designed for all DJ's, mobile club, bedroom, streaming, everyone, that antenna however, for club and mobile, it will be broken all the time until eventually removed, unless they give that antenna a redesign or we are able to remove it completely.
