Do B. Tech. because you failed in UPSC then you'll don't have to worry about Your Career. This will work as a backup plan. But If you took B.A. and you failed in UPSC then last option is to roam with GOATS.. Because.. “HAU DEKHA! BA KAKE BAKRI 🐐 CHARAVATA”

If you are dedicated aspirant of UPSC
Then BA program/BA Honours is most suitable for you.
Because you have less time, you prepare upsc with your BA 3 years more than a Btech student with full time.

Best example of this stream success
IAS Shruti Sharma (Air 1 2022 CSE)
He was history Honours from JMI Delhi.

But if you pick b tech then you will be having the plan "B". Upsc has success rate 0.1% dont just blindly jump in the prep mode first understand everything and plan your life well then go for it.. BA krke b jyada kuch fayda hota nhi h kyuki upsc ki demand alg h.. so do your graduation with smthing that can be your plan b

It's depending on students, Which type is brain, If student have more comfort in technical then choose B.Tech else choose BA or other.B.Tech not only degree certificate it's improve strength, problem solving skills and strengthening overall personality....
