Making an animated Bright was a good idea. The animation on the other hand, could definitely have been better

"Bright" was an 'okay' movie, but the world-building was amazingly well done. If the damn studio execs had any sense, they would go all-in with the Bright Cinematic Universe and drown in the money nerds like me would pour onto them.

Bright is one of the best Netflix Orginal films that deserved a true sequel. That being said, i do love anime and Netflix seems to be wanting to grow their animation catalog.

I'll check it out.

I really really enjoy the Bright movie and I hope we get a sequel/s soon.
That world is ready to dive into as Bright only touched the surface.
There's 9 races (really 10 but Orcs dont count because of siding with the DarkLord) to explore, a plethora of magic and fantastical creatures plus tons of back history that story wise could be entwined with real historical events in turn affecting the story in its present day form.
The first being set in modern day especially LA was a stroke of genius just imagine if it was in New York, Tokyo or Dubai it would be amazing!
I really hope Netflix aren't trying to gauge interest in a live action sequel with this anime as I'm not keen on this trailer and alot of ppl I know don't and won't watch 'cartoons' (their words).
The setting is just ok I guess but being set in modern times was what gave the live action its interesting aesthetic and the animation isn't as good as I'd hoped but I'll still watch it but I'm not hyped or in a hurry to.
I wonder why Netflix havent got a Bright franchise going already? Does Max Landis hold the rights or something? If so buy him out Netflix as Bright movies and even series with the right directors and writers will be popular no doubt.
