For the younger generation, I was 19 when i watched this game live on tv. People were nicer, products were healthier and affordable, cars were better and we only had 2 genders. Good old days are missed dearly.

Man I miss these days. The NBA on NBC theme music on the intro and the games were so physical and intense. The crowds were rowdy back then.

One of the most heated rivalries back in the 90s. I miss rivalries like this because of the animosity and hatred towards each other. We need more rivalries like this again besides Boston-Miami. It’s good to see NY-Indiana rivalry revived again.

P.S.: the NBA is returning to NBC after next season and I’ll be watching every single game on NBC/Peacock.

The intro took me back. Lawd have mercy i hope they do that next year.
No social media just eyes on the game because they were epic games especially in the playoffs. Every game was physical and they played damn near every game no showboating on every damn shot. Serious basketball was played by serious players.

This Knicks team was a championship team. They simply ran into a more battle-tested Chicago Bulls team in this series, and that experience paid off all the way to the Bulls third straight championship.

As a life long Knick fan I watched this game as a 12 year old soon to be 13. My Knicks were beast we always had solid squad with Ewing Starks & company. Im 43 in 4 weeks. 👀. The NBA was very different then. Better really. Much better. More physicality / Pride on the defensive end & more parity. Elite guys & complimentary role players on damn near every team. Miss 90s ball. 🏀

In my opinion when you allow men to be physical "within the rules" it naturally brings out your competitive nature which in turn gives you a better product on the court. NBA is missing that today and ratings are down...
