Lyrics:
Goodbye yesterday
I’m living in the light of a new day
I won’t waste another minute in my old ways
Praise the Lord I’ve been born again

Goodbye yesterday
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me
I’ve got resurrection in my veins
Praise the Lord, I’ve been born again

Again and again and again and again
You rescued me out of the mess I was in
Traded my sorrow for something to sing
I’m dancing on the grave that I once lived in

I have decided
To follow Jesus
The world behind
The cross before
I won’t turn back

As a drummer, I’m actually not sure which video I’m gonna replay more: the piano or the drum cam. Because the way Scott PLAYS these keys for this

This is one of the most fire keys playthroughs I've ever seen in my life. Holy smokes scott absolutely rips this tune up. What a FANTASTIC part and performance. Great job! Can't wait to learn this!

Listened to this song yesterday when it was my birthday, and also got baptized, and on a sunday. Felt like it was the most blessed day i have ever had 🙏🏼❤️ we have a new day, we can live in the light of Christ. He has put us out of the darkness into the light. Let's be the light of this world 🙏🏼❤️

It’s so funny how this song has been out for some time and yet this is the only vid I could find that was actually really helpful. He plays it so well too!

I was actually looking for this 😂. Was wondering… could Scott teach us when are the best times to overplay in any CCM type song. Some times I get so bored with the 1, 4, 5 progression and I just want some type of good movement using some nice passing chords and all, but when I overplay, it will just be too much for some songs.

That piano tone sounds incredible - is it straight out of the Nord 4 library, and which patch? Cheers! Love from Auckland NZ

I am a little confused. When I listen to the full song and this video and compare the two, they seem like two different piano parts. For example, the third time they sing "again and again, " in the full song, I hear keys playing Eb5 on quarter notes (along with other notes obviously) throughout the section, but in this video on that part, he's not even on that part of the piano. Am I missing something?
