Shuttlebus conversion - Episode 19 - Installing a Plywood Ceiling in our Bus!

This video shows how I installed a 1/4 inch plywood ceiling in my shuttle bus. We used underlayment instead of birch ply because we planned to paint it anyway, and it’s much cheaper than birch ply. This was a relatively simple and smallish project that made a HUGE visual difference, and was super rewarding to complete. The ceiling looks great! The color is perfect. Very clever using the router for the skylight. With this kind of progress you will be on the road in a matter of days! Do you know where and how you will mount your gray tank yet? John

You can used spray foam in the cracks that what i did works great

Im converting on a budget too. Just put an $800 mini-split on my CC... gotta pay that off before making the next modification. Its Hot in the southeast and my wondow unit wasnt cutting it.
