What a downer this Kane saga puts on the squad each season. Sell him off, mr Levy will get a good deal, buy 2 young progressive centre backs. If in 2023/4 season we drop 25 goals for Kane the new centre backs will stop at least that many goals going in. The goals they stop in the following seasons are a bonus and the squad players won’t be pissed off by seeing Kane turning out on three times their wages. I would back Sonny against Kane any day, so I don’t think he’ll be missed that much anyway!

The "Kane" issue Will take Over the Window and come August the defensive line Will still have Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga, Rondon, reguillon, Royal, perisic. No top4 team would want this rejects on a free.
The midfield is the same. Which top4 or top6 would play Skipp, Ndombele, Sarr, Ló Celso...
Massive problems and little effort from Levy.

I'm all in for Elijah Adabayo! Chasing high-profile strikers is a gamble with the cash we'll splash. Instead, we need someone we can build on, someone like Adebayo – 25 years old, tough as Haaland, slick on the ball, great passer, agile, covers ground both ways, presses like a beast, and dominates in the air. He's the perfect fit for Ange's system.
