Lush video as always! Some of the soundscapes you were getting were amazing, ambient at its finest! I'd also imagine that classic shoegaze/dream pop bands would definitely be messing about with more modern electronics, like modular synths or the endless soundscapes you can get with software, especially considering that Kevin Shields was heavily inspired by hip hop when making loveless, and Neil was obsessed with trip hop when making Souvlaki! Keep up the amazing work, cant wait to hear much more original work from both you and Paige!

I'm loving this video. I've asked myself this question a lot. Though one of my favorite things about Robin Guthrie was his ability to get those otherworldly sounds out of off-the-shelf Boss and Ibanez pedals. He really knew how to stack them in unique ways to get the most out of them.

Dont ask me why, but I was using a step phaser effect in addition to chorus/delay sometimes to make Cocteau Twins-like guitar sound😅

have u tried the boss 500 series? watched ur video on the dd-200 bu after doing some research the 500 seems like the better option. also do u think with the chorus on jc120 the MD200/500 is slightly redundant, and would be better to get the DD and RV first? thanks for the awesome videos
