Made from Flame Ceramic, our tagine can be used either directly on the heat or in the oven, and allows you to make delicious tagines, stews and any other recipe which requires simmering. It can be used on all direct heat sources: gas, electric or halogen (with an induction disk for induction hobs) and in the oven. Our Flame ceramic has been designed specifically for slow simmering, which brings out the flavours in the recipe. The lid has a unique shape, which allows the steam to circulate and helps keep the ingredients tender and moist. Ideal for 4-6 servings. I had the exact same problem. I wrote to them and they told me to bring white vinegar to a boil for 5 mins, then cool it down, and clean it by scouring -- that it would not hurt the bottom. It worked but need to reseason it and am afraid the milk with burn on the bottom again.

Prepared my tagine with milk and some burnt on the bottom - how do I remove??

Everything sticks to my Emile Henry tagine !!! what am I doing wrong? I cook on very low heat with a little oil in the pot and it still happens. It is a nightmare to clean. I'll try cooking in the oven and see if that helps.
