I have in my possession a real Zimbabwe 10 trillion dollar note. It cost me four US dollars at a flea market. It is real official currency. This is what happens when governments print money like drunken sailors. It's called hyperinflation. It ends up in a situation where to buy 1/2 sandwich at Subway you have to hand them 10 trillion dollars. Your official currency becomes hopelessly worthless. But the politicians get to enjoy playing around with unimaginably large numbers. It gets them off.
