Показать описание

Subwoofer or headphones are suggested.

This is a specially formulated ambient sleep sound created with actual electromagnetic emissions produced by Neptune which have been converted into sound waves. This deep bass relaxation noise morphs around for 12 hours as it lulls you to sleep, helps you focus at work, gets you studying, or helps put the baby to bed.

Neptune sounds a lot less noisy than all the others. Fantastic.

The fact that this actually exists somewhere out there in the infinite, dark abyss of space is beautifully terrifying.

It sounds like staring down an endless void of nothing. All alone.

I don't understand why so many people say it sounds lonely. I find it so soothing. I wasn't expecting to hear "Who Let The Dogs Out" or the roar of a fütbol arena.

In this sound I hear doom, infinity, eternity, cold, emptiness, loneliness and tranquility bordering on a trance

I hear angelic singing, cello tones, planes flying in the distance, and wind. Very soothing

My friend and I have gained love for the planet Neptune. We first started too love it when we first saw it and it’s beautiful blue color. One day we went to school and our science teacher announced that we have to do a project about a planet with a partner or two. Obviously as friends due, we locked eyes. Our science teacher then said that we would have to pick a planet with our eyes closed and put our hand into a bucket and grab a paper. My friend and I were a little sad at the fact we would have a 50 50 chance of getting Neptune, instead of a 100% chance. My friend picked me to go and dig for a planet. I was so nervous because I really wanted to pick Neptune. I got out the paper and it

NEPTUNE!

We were so excited and our teacher noticed and asked why, and we said, “because we love Neptune!” We couldn’t believe it. So when we started our researching for our project, we started to love it even more! Anyways, I don’t plan to be an astronaut, I just love Neptune, well my friend and I actually. I never heard the sound of Neptune, so this is super cool! Thanks for being awesome Neptune!

Sometimes I think like I would feel less alone in space than on this crowded Earth. There is something so calming about space...

Here are some facts about Neptune to read while you listen to this.
1. Neptune orbits at roughly 30.1 AU. This means it's orbit at times crosses with Pluto.
2. Neptune takes 164.8 years to orbit once.
3. Neptune has the fastest winds in the solar system at 2100 kph (580 mps)
4. Neptune has only been visited by a probe once. The probe was Voyager 2 which visited Neptune in 1989.
5. Neptune is the smallest jovian planet, being slightly smaller than Uranus.
6. Neptune has the lowest amount of moons around a jovian plant, at 13.
7. Neptune's largest moon, Triton, is in retrograde orbit (orbiting Neptune in the opposite direction Neptune orbits) which means that it is on a collision course with it. Triton is also likely a captured KBO, and Pluto may also be captured in this way.
8. Neptune has the most active weather when it comes to hurricane formation. It has formed several large hurricanes such as The Great Blue Spot, which you can see on screen.
9. Neptune has a small, fragmented ring system that is incredibly faint.
10. Neptune is roughly 3 times the size of Earth and anything below that size, but not terrestrial, is known as a gas dwarf.
11. Neptune and Uranus periodically changed in orbital distance near the beginning of planetary formation, meaning the title for farthest planet constantly changed.
12. Neptune's atmosphere, like most jovian planets, is composed primarily of hydrogen and helium, but mostly hydrogen.
13. Neptune completes an orbit every 154.79 earth orbits.
14. Neptune has a 2:3 orbital resonance with Pluto.
15. Neptune's moon Nereid has the one of the most eccentric orbits of any solar system satellite at a whopping 0.7512
16. Proteus, one of Neptune's moons, is quite peculiar as an object of its size and density should be spherical, yet Proteus is non-spherical.

Shout-out to the guy who risked his life traveling to Neptune just to record 12 hours of audio and video for us. 🙏❤️

This is quite honestly absolutely bloody terrifying. It's so haunting, it's like infinitely slow-building tension. Fills me with dread. If I heard this walking alone at night or if I was in space I don't know what I would do lol

This is the sound of one million Buddhist monks chanting "Ohmmm" into the void. And the void chanting back.

Neptune sounds so hypnotic and soothing. I was having a bit of anxiety earlier and listening to this instantly calmed me.
I want to imagine myself, wearing a space suit specifically designed to withstand extremely, insanely cold temperatures, somehow managing to not let the high winds take me with it, and just explore Neptune, my most favorite planet in the solar system!

Imagine taking a night parked in space with this view, letting Neptune lull you to sleep. Dreams of a future I’ll never see but man, space is so beautiful! 🔵
