This isn't clickbait and it's not fud this new legislature drafted up by the good ole us government is setting the stage to basically ban bitcoin mining, cryptocurrency mining including Ethereum mining, and even basically ban running anything in crypto that makes you money like staking cryptocurrencies to earn passive income, running masternodes, and yield farming along with other defi mechanics. Let's review wtf is going the US government and how the USA could make all BTC and crypto investors, users, and miners criminals..

they haven't banned it yet.. Portman has proposed language in the Infrastructure Bill which is in the Senate. Contact your state Senator and let them know how you feel about Section 80603 of the Infrastructure Bill. if you're for crypto, this section needs to be removed.

Only one thing I would like to add, income tax was never even supposed to be permanent, it was added to pay off debt after world war 2 and never removed because we never got out of debt. Now they essentially want to double down on a previously failed plan and add more taxes on the middle and lower class. Depending how you interpret the constitution income tax is technically illegal even. But whatever, you're absolutely right, the more they try to regulate the more people they will force to cheat. Why not focus on all the trust funds and corporations evading taxes and posting record profits?

Our pay checks are already taxed. The gains from crypto came from already taxed income. Effectively, they want to tax you a minimum of 3 times.
