Yes, I have a question... why in the f#%! did Jeep make a simple release of the emergency brake complicated enough that I had to have a charged smartphone with YouTube with me to learn how to get the car to work again without giving to call a tow truck? Something as simple as this should be self-evident. Maybe I could have figured it out but only after a full panic attack I'm guessing. You saved me a melt down. I am forever grateful DIY Pinto!!!

This electronic parking brake is a dumb feature. Who needs a P brake when you have a parking pin? I'd rather have a backup manual e-brake in case the brakes fail. Is there a way to disable the automatic parking brake or whatever they are calling it? Every time that I start up and pull out of the garage, it feels like the ass end is dragging for a few seconds until it releases.

Ok so i guess we need to start a group against jeep about this stupid emergancy break thing, cause it takes me forever and pushing well over 100 time for that stupid break to release. I had to sit for an hour once pushing the button and kicking my break for it to finally let go. We have taken our renagade to multiple dealerships and nobody can seam to explain why its doing this or how to make it stop..
I have noticed that sometime if i just throw it in reverse (we have a stick) and start going, it lets go but not everytime..
If anybody else know how to fix please lets chat..
