Citrus oils (lemon, orange, lime etc.) and other sources of acid may destroy your granite and marble countertop... I would use a different essential oil for this purpose, such as thyme, tea tree, oregano, eucalyptus and cinnamon (essential oils with excellent antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, without damaging your natural stone surfaces).

Does it leave streaks? I have black granite and of course when I wipe a mess with just water you can see the streaks.

Will the soap keep the oils from separating and rising to the top? I made cleaner with half water, half rubbing alcohol and orange essential oil but oil constantly settles on top.
