Interpol really doesn’t get enough credit for their role in the revival of guitar centric rock. Turn on the Bright Lights is every bit the equal to Is This It. Two different styles of guitar, but both equally refreshing.

Watching this as a 28 year old in 2020 and instantly reminded of how lucky I was to be a middle school kid finding my musical tastes in the early 2000’s. Killers. Interpol. Everything else. Man, we really grew up with some of the greats, didn’t we?

Interpol is pretty underrated. I mean their basslines, guitar riffs, deep lyrics and theatrical videos. They have to be in the top 5 alternative rock bands of 2000s.
