I find it easier to simply see that all objects within space-time are constantly on the move, and that they all move with the same magnitude of motion. Make a simple Motion-vector/Length-scalar geometric representation of this constant motion within space-time, and you will be able to derive all of the SR equations in mere minutes. Almost no math skills are required.
