Fantastic review and am now patiently awaiting your Beam 2 v Bose 600 showdown to make my purchase (just like many others here!). i got the bose 600 today. i am happy with the crisp clear sound but the bass is definitely missing. my living room is only 350 sq ft but cannot feel the bass. i am not a bass addict ok but its really not there at all. you need a bose module 500, its a must. i think i will keep it. at least i am happy with the clarity not the muffled voice from bass powered jbl or sony with same price range.

Hi Pete. I played using airplay 2 with sonos arc 5.1.2 / Devialet Phantom silver stereo speakers. Slightly increased the volume up is phantom for the thumping bass and increase the treble in sonos
Sound is perfectly synchronized and the sound separation is mind blowing!!! Definitely you need to try it !!!

Hi Pete, I'm trying to connect to a yamaha subwoofer using an aux to rca cable from the bass output port on the back of my Bose 600 soundbar. But no bass is transmitting. Please help?

I have a question for Mr technical. The Sonos beam for example support Dolby Atmos, but doesn’t have upward firing speakers what is important for the effect.
The Yamaha 109 doesn’t support Dolby Atmos, but has DTSX upward firing speakers (you can even lift the back a little up for a better surround effect).
So I was wondering if you play Dolby Atmos to both soundbars what gives the best Dolby Atmos experience/ result? I’m aware the Yamaha can’t decode Dolby Atmos, but you still hear a surround effect with upward firing speakers. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you for review. Could you please compare the soundtouch 300 and the Bose 600 soundbars? I have the 300, and the surrounds and BM700, am wondering if upgrading to the 600 will improve the spaciousness and the height sounds. Thanks!

How does this sound bar sound with regular 5.1 channel audio. Most content online are not atmos compatible. What do upward firing woofers do with 5.1 sound input.

I am considering this for a pc setup: bose 600 + bass module 500 or the sonos beam gen 2 + sub mini. Gaming, music and movies would be used. Of the two which is more recommended? Would trueplay from the Sonos be able to be used to improve sound quality during setup (assuming I understand everything) or is bose truespace better?
