Requires: Brook Universal Fighting Board, or any Brook PCB with the common layout. (Also works with PS360+)

My EZ MOD doesn't do any processing on the action buttons or lever. In fact, none of my EZ MOD solutions do. The LATENCY question is the #1 question that gets on my nerves more than anything because:

1. Most people have no idea what it actually is or how its calculated (even if they think they do)
2. It wildly varies based on the software, aka game you are playing.
3. There is a lot of mis information about it out there that people take as gospel because of 1 and 2 above.

Yes, this will work with POKKEN on Wii U now. Brook added Wii U functionality a few months ago.

2022. Years later. Managed to find a brand new, boxed VLX Kuro (expensive!) 2 months ago. Bought the EZ Mod from Arcade Shock as they just came back in stock. Followed this very nice tutorial. Had to stop when I discovered that the USB connector on my stock board was glued (from the factory). Horror! Was advised to apply a few drops of Isopropyl Alcohol to the glue, wait a couple of minutes and peel it off. It worked! Such a relief! Everything else was a smooth ride. Installed it and it passed the test.

21:41 Is that a standard connector that i can find online if i know what to search?
The connector side that has the colored wires plugged in.

I'm having 5 different top panels made for my two VLX sticks with the idea that i can easily swap different button layouts (like Noir/blast City/Vewlix) just by swapping the top panels and they would all have their indivitual buttons and joysticks, so all i have to do is just swap the panel and unconnect and connect the wires.

And i need to get 3 new sets of wires too so i propably need to know what kind of parts i need to slide the wire ends to the connector.

If you could help me out that would be awesome because that would be the cleanest solution. Other wise i will propably add a custom connector somewhere in the middle of the original wires.

Finally got around to picking this up thanks to arcadeshock and i gotta say its really great. Playing laggless on ps4 and pc are great but the brook UFB now even works with the Switch. So having a high end stick that can olay on anything is amazing. Thanks to this board I was able to install in around 10mins and save all my wires

Jasen, will this package work for the generation 1 VLX models? I assume the functionality intended for the PS4 touchpad can simply be ignored. Are there any other minor differences I'll need to account for?

It needs to be updated, Sony released a fw update that added an 8 minute timeout. Download the exe to update from brook's website.

Hey Jason. Amazing job on this product! I got two for my vlx kuros. Little issue though - I busted the white plastic usb harness when trying to remove the glue from stock pcb. The wires came out and now the crimp is useless. How would i go about replacing/fixing this and or can I just use the universal fightboard usb input/output?
