Budha Madhyamaheshwar (Budha means 'Vriddh' or 'old') is a 2 km uphill trekking from the Madhyamaheshwar temple. It offers one of the best views of Chaukhambha Peaks. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

MadhyaMaheshwar or MadMaheshwar temple is a second Kedar, located in MadhyaMaheshwar Ganga valley of Rudraprayag District. MadhyaMaheshwar Ganga is also known as Madhu Ganga. The source of MadhyaMaheshwar Ganga is the beautiful Nandi Kund, which is around 16 km trekking distance ahead of MadhyaMaheshwar. Trek for the MadhyaMaheshwar starts from Agtoli Dhar, 1 km ahead of the Ranshi Village. It is a 16km trek from Agtoli Dhar to the MadhyaMaheshar Temple. It will be easier to reach Bantoli after that bit harder to climb up to KoonChatti, just 2 km short of the MadhyaMaheshwar temple.
