The fast and easy way to defragment your drives in Windows. This method works with both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Starting with the release of Windows 7, the need to manually defragment your drives in Windows has been greatly reduced. Windows now regularly defragments your drives automatically. That being said, you can still manually defragment at any time.

I don't regularly defragment drives anymore, except right before cloning, or after doing a lot of file cleanup on a full drive. Do you still defrag?

Warning: Dont defrag your Solid State Drive (SSD) as it can actually decrease its lifespan.
