The two salts, lead ii nitrate and sodium carbonate are soluble. The reaction is precipitation reaction where the precipitate is lead(ii) carbonate as sediment and clean solution.

Pls zn & Al form white gelatinous ppt so putting those ions automatically fail the students.
Pls change it to Pb & Ca ion in NaoH in which lead is soluble in excess. Pls note this & do the needful. Thanks

Meanwhile u cannot just add sodium hydroxide direct to d residue

Guy your report are not ok. You need to describe the nature of the precipitate in this case chalky. With this Al is discarded. You did not say whether C is solid, liquid or gas . This report cannot earn 1/2 of the score.

What do you mean by residue 1, 2, 3.
How can you use the reagents mentioned the residue when it is still in a solid form.
What you did is all wrong

You cannot add sodium hydroxide to a residue. Please revisit your work so that it will not throw students into serious

Al3+ gives a gelatinous white precipitate while Pb2+ gives a (chalky) white

Please start afresh, so that students wil not watch this and fall into serious error.

Great job bro, but please always dig it deep with your research before coming on here because you never know how far your videos can go. For the brown ring test, you forgot to add FeSO4 and also, the two salts used are soluble salts.

This approach is totally wrong!
Residue can't be used directly with sodium hydroxide or ammonium hydroxide to test for cations. This is misleading, please.
