My buddy and I are getting into the business this next upcoming season and we are trying to figure out the best way to set up our spray rig. We have a wand with a valve on it now but what you’re using seems way more sensible, so what is that wand and what kind of tip are you using? It looks great and it looks like you have a greater deal of control over your fan

Hope you are spraying two coats as it looks sparse. Why dont you squeegy the seal coat into the asphalt driveway, won't is adhere better than spraying?

Great work. Just a quick question. Roughly how much sealer would you have used on this job?

That’s what I needed to know. I put the same size pump on my new setup that pumps 24 gallons a minute and it is bogging the motor down when I put pressure on it. It works fine on the other one that has the gear reduction on it but not this one. So I will get a smaller pump and change this one out. I have a t valve that’s rated for 1200 psi which I will not use that much pressure but it might work on it when I get the right pump. Thanks for your help my friend.

This is guaranteed super thin. Uneven and really watered down. You don't paint like a spray can. Nice even consistent spray from side to side. Could have sprayed this the right way in a quarter of the time it took to spray it like someone that put watered down sealer in their power washing setup. From the looks of the cardboard it looked like black spray paint.

This is the only type of sealer that actually benefits your asphalt instead of covering up the imperfections

Not a fan of spray on sealer for residential applications. Had a sloppy contractor do my driveway years ago. However you guys did a pretty nice job.

Mario, where do you get your 900 psi pressure relief valve.

We just had our driveway paved. Whoever was operating the roller ran through some dirt before getting back up on to the asphalt. So there's a large area that's discolored because his roller wasn't clean. Wife hates it. Asphalt is now a few weeks freshly paved. Is it too soon to put a seal coat on top of it to make her happy? She wants it perfectly black and nice looking. If we can just seal it now and make it look perfect, what product do you recommend? I'm going to do it myself because we are tired of having to rely on someone "doing it right the first time." That hasn't worked out for us lately. Can I get some sort of attachment or set up to spray like this?

I live in the deep south, maybe 1 out of ten thousand might have a paved driveway. Most people where im at have a poured driveway. Paved driveways must be popular in the north.
