That is the Lowe’s I work at and that ladder was placed there to allow more access to the front wall. The ladder is needed on that aisle for down stocking.

The employees at the lowes I worked at hid stuff all the time. Around Christmas, if you looked under flower pots, you could find Christmas lights hidden that were about to go on sale. So it wouldn't surprise me if an employee was trying to hide something.

As the son of a home depot store manager I can say with absolute certainty employees hide tools until the clearance is low enough and then they buy it. You can just ask my father and his new air compressor welder, nail guns, chopsaw‘s table, saws miter saw…….

If they Wanted to hide it then it would be in the back room. Usually company's mark things down to move the product not to hide it.

As the former Lowe’s employees I’ve seen people just put it randomly or I would see people hide stuff on clearance. But most people don’t care the other day I went to go buy some safety glasses for the job. I’m in now. And I kind of an idea hiding spot of these safety glasses that I couldn’t that were $32 and were clearance for eight dollars.so it can go both ways

Economy is so bad I see deals similar to this while shopping at HD or Lowes. Two years ago some fool would buy four of these table saw sets to flip and go back for the rest. Not so today
