Fun fact: There are numerous scenes in the series that imply (or confirm) that Madame Gazelle is a vampire. Whenever she is shown in a flashback sequence, she is shown to look the same as she does in the present. She also comments on how Susie's vampire costume reminds her of the old days. And directly after that, the narrator finally states something that a child might not have figured out on their own, by pointing out how Madame Gazelle doesn't have a reflection in a nearby mirror.
