I hope they bring this tire back for the fall race. It was awesome. One of the best races I’ve ever seen.

I think the tires just need more fall off before the cords start showing. Like make the tire in two or more layers with a soft compound layer on the outside and a hard compound layer on the inside. The soft layer will be fast but once it gets to the harder layer the pace will slow down while being more resilient and less likely to wear to cords before it's better to go ahead and change the tires.

Let’s be honest we want tire wear, but not that much

LOTS of empty seats. Bristol is FAR from being back. There was a point in time, where it had a five year wait list for tickets.

I let the limited amount of fans we saw in the stabds speak for itself

My only complaints were a bit too much tire wear, and I personally would have preferred a night race. I love Bristol under the lights. There’s just something about it

This car happen at every short track if we just use soft tires, NASCAR has used pretty hard compound tires in the past decade or so because they didn't want races like Bristol to happen and it's hurt the racing product by making tire wear nearly irrelevant and pushing aero platform of the cars to the forefront of what makes a good setup, this is the kind of thing we need to push towards, although I would prefer the tires actually wear into the track instead of shredding and beading up at the top of the track making the high lane completely undrivable

Now we just need better racing at Martinsiville

I mean the tire wear wasn’t bad but it was concerning they wouldn’t have enough for the race if they use the same compound next time they need to bring at least a dozen sets for each team

When Bristol becomes the new Darlington

There was some good battles don’t get me wrong, but majority of the battles came in the front of the field when the lead changed 54 times, or restarts but once they spread it out, it was hard to really pass each other because of the wear. It was exciting, but everyone was focused on not wearing up their tires. Too much tire Wear isnt a good thing, it takes away from the actual racing and battles. The race was ok, but in my opinion, it’s not as great as everyone thinks. Even some of the drivers like Ryan Blaney, Kyle Busch, Elliot and others didn’t like the race because of the wear. I guess it’s better than it raining.

I know Goodyear said it’s the same tire but that’s bullshit. Definitely bring this tire to all short tracks. Now the tires wearing too much wasn’t because of the tires, it was most likely because of the track not taking rubber due to the weather as we have seen that before and the teams expecting a tire that wouldn’t wear so they made their setups extremely aggressive on tires. I believe this because you can see the older drivers who know how to save their tires did because they know how to while the younger drivers are used to being able to drive the doors off the cars

It was great don’t get me wrong, but not perfect, it was like watching them in slow motion, you run faster lap times on iracing, if they could somehow get something very close to that, not as aggressive tire fall off, like 30 laps in I really don’t want to see the same wreck unfold oh man Todd Gilland is about to blow a tire, here comes Austin Cindric dive bombing, granted last run they made it, it seemed to be really inconsistent and idk if there was a saving tire factor between guys like Kyle Larson, Ty Gibbs, Truex, Hamlin. Hell even Busch I don’t believe Busch is bad at saving tires I can’t fathom that, my best guess was the resin was ripping the grip straight out of the tires, I don’t imagine it’s like (Mary J resin) but if it’s a resin product it’s definitely a ultra sticky molasses kinda thing, which is almost like waxing leg hairs so that could explain a lot, I like when I see Bristol high line and low line work, yeah the middle helped passes be made but the shredded marbles like 5 feet from the wall was absurd they might as well decrease the length of where the wall sits at that point not really. But 16 and 17 second lap times really

Look at those crowds and convince me it’s old Bristol. Uh no

Everyone bitched and moaned about the dirt race and now that concrete is back for the Spring, the stands are STILL bare. NASCAR fans can't make up their minds.

I like this but I think there is a little too much tire wear. If they continue races like that people really have to learn how to manage tires

I used to go to Bristol when the place was packed. If you think this was good racing your crazy.

I think they need to leave the track alone and not spray that crap on it. I would have liked to have seen the race without the traction compound and see how it turned out.
