Motor Nuerone Disease - A disease that affects the muscles in the body and gradually leads to paralysis. Little is known about the cause of MND and there is no effective treatment.
Although this video started as a school project, it opened my eyes to a disease I never knew existed. Thank you to all who made this video possible. Special mention to the Sarandis Family, Dr Ian Davis and Bradley Turner from the Florey Institute of Neuroscience who allowed me into their lives to get a glimpse of this devastating disease. To these people, I know that MND plays the little brother to MS and the distant cousin to Dementia and I hope this video creates the community awareness it needs.
