Hey, I’ve recently started looking at new power supply and have been looking at this for a while. I know this video was made 3 years ago so you probably have some good testing. Do you recommend this?

If you read the review again, JonnyGuru states that they changed their scoring metric, and that they were not going to go back and redo all the scores given previously, otherwise the 750 and the 850 would also have been marked down.

Actually if the peak load on your system is what you say it is (without a second graphics card) then the fan on the PSU will actually never spin up. The reason for building it in with the grill facing upwards is that hot air rises and although efficient the a few percent is converted into heat.

As the hot air rises it will draw in cool air from the back and thus give you just a wee bit more passive cooling of the components.

Most of cables you mentioned were named by you incorrectly. For example molex cables were mistaken.
