Very nicely done. I grew up traveling around the world and from a young age learned to be polite in different cultures. Simple phrases like, hello, good-bye, thank you, your welcome, and how address people politely in their language make a huge difference. Simple courtesy goes a very long way.

Great advice Lloyd and much needed. I wish people would just do a little research on this subject before they come here. There's plenty of info on the Internet. Showing the proper respect to people, places and religious objects can make your trip here much more pleasant and Thai people really appreciate those who make the effort.

Very helpful information of do’s and dont’s. Seems that Thai people are very humble people and happy. When my husband and I went to Morocco, our travel agent also gave us some advices on the etiquettes of the land. Was very helpful as to not offend the people..

This was a great video, very informative. I did see someone else's video long time ago about not touching the head, and hair, but they did not know why. Good info.

I wasn't sure if pointing with finger on things that I want to buy was okay. Thanks for clarifying.

Hi there guys,
Very informative. Thank you for sharing. It's always best to know the custom/culture of someone's country BEFORE visiting to avoid unnecessary negativity. Stay blessed

Your a guest in their county. Respect their rules and standards don’t demand they do it the way you’re used to. Their house, their rules.

It's very hard to not do whats natural, You really have to pay attention before you act because you have been doing it a certain way for so long. Never whistle to get someones attention. Thank you for sharing.

I am Malaysian who lives in USA. I like to see all your videos about Thailand. Your wife looks sweet and kind. My sister-in-law is from Pattani in south Thailand, she is soooo very sweet and nice too and a very great cook. I've been to Thailand in 1997, they thought I am Thai but then they insisted that I am a Filipina not a Malaysian, that was funny. My fiancé's father is an American who lives in Nong Khai since 7 years. We plan to visit him after covid case is clear.

It's not about the height of your hands when you wai a monk, you should bow down so that your head is lower (which results in your hands being high between your eyes)
