Seminar on Environmental Justice at UW-Stout, December 6th, 2012:

The Ally Initiatives of UW-Stout Hosted the first annual Intersections of Multiculturalism and Sustainability event. The event capped of the year's intersection series which is offered as a pathway to examine social group membership and culture.

The Seminar on Environmental Justice featured by scholars Dr. Tim Collins and Dr. Sarah Grineski. Dr. Collins is Associate Professor of Geography, in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Texas at El Paso. His research interests include Human-Environment Relations, Hazard Vulnerability, Political Ecology, Environmental Justice, and Urban Governance. Dr. Grineski is the Co-Director of the Environment core of the Hispanic Health Disparities Research Center of the University of Texas at El Paso and University of Houston National Institute of Health.
