Steven J. Fowler x YOSHIDA Kyoko - Kyoto Camarade

Held at the remarkable Gokurakuji Buddhist temple on January 8th 2023, for the first time the Camarade poetry event format took place in Kyoto, Japan. Curated by Fukudapero and Kyoko Yoshida, alongside Colin Herd and Steven Fowler, this event brought over 20 poets together from Kyoto, across Japan and visiting from other nations. These poets presented brand new performance and literary and avant garde collaborations over an epic night for an event that won't be forgotten.

This event was part of the JUPE : Japanese UK Poetry Exchange project, supported by The Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation, the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation and many others.
