Marion, l love everything you do. I wrote a long flowery text about how much I admire your teaching and that genius of yours. You have taught me so much and your joy seems to come through the TV and makes me happy. I tried to send that first one but it went into YouTube Land. What I wanted you to know is that learning from you is fun. You always cheer me.
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

I learned to do this using a different plant, the cabbage tree in New Zealand. It's fun and a good skill to learn. Thanks Marion. =-)

Nettles are amazing plants. I made bracelets with nettles a few years ago on a kind of information fair/market in my village. I showed people what they could make and eat with plants in the autum. Every year I tried something new: color wool with plants or use nettle leaves to make pesto. Some men of our plant-group were the guides and they told visitors where everything was growing. I love the very thin thread you made. You can use it in your book, Have a nice week.

Thank-you Marion, it was fascinating watching the process as you turned the nettles into fiber. I have a very old blanket which my mother and grandmother created by using the fiber of the broome bush if I recall right. It is quite heavy and rough to touch but amazing. The necklace is lovely, thanks for sharing. 💚💚

Your overgrown garden looks heavenly. We are in drought and my landscape is rocks and dirt. But, passionflower thrives and I’m excited to use some of the strong but delicate looking curled up vines. For what I’m not sure yet. Your videos inspire me. I am in central south Texas. It will be 105 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon. 🥵

How interesting! I bought some nettle leaves to use for tea. It says it's supposed to help with allergies, and other things! I love this use of the fibers!! That is amazing!! Thanks for sharing!!
