All Ghost Powers And Abilities | The Sims 4 Guide

Ghosts have quite a few unique powers and abilities. The main ones are outlined below.

Ghost's colour mimics their mood, they're immortal, and can pass through objects and walls.

They have some unique socials, include being able to talk about death with other sims and warning them about bed safety, as well as perform the ghost scare interaction and the mischief interaction to pass through other sims.

Ghosts can possess a large array of objects, which will cause nearby sims to become tense. On some objects they can possess to break them, and conversely on some broken objects they can possess to repair them with the 'ghostly repair' option.

Ghosts can also exist as supernatural hybrids, meaning they can be both a ghosts and one of a vampire, mermaid, alien or spellcaster at the same time.

You should look into updating this as some of the ghost types are different and have different quirks. For instance, Sims that died by Murphy Bed cannot sleep in a bed of any type due to being afraid. I would also love to see a video showcasing all of the different ways ghosts manifest according to the way they died.

According to the wiki, sims that are a vampire that die from sunlight will be able to keep their powers and weaknesses when they turn into a ghost. The same applies to spellcasters who die of "spellcaster overload", as they get to keep their magical skills. Does this mean anyone that dies as a vampire or a spellcaster outside of these aforementioned deaths won't be able to access their powers and abilities when they become ghosts?

You can also use a ghost sim who died to a Murphy bed to drain a sims energy through possession

I had a little girl in my household that died from freezing...she would cause the other sims to become too chill and they started dying of freezing. It was such a nuisance that i had to change her death trait to stop her from killing everyone.

They can’t make it so that ghosts can interact with so many objects yet we couldn’t have bunk beds for almost a decade.

Why would you need the option of ghosts to break objects in The Sims 4? Sims 4 stuff is ALWAYS breaking.

The worst ghosts I think are the ones that died by murphy bed. Their ghost gains the ability to DRAIN the energy out of other sims!! Creepy and horrible ability!
