True hardship brings out the best and worst in people. Gruesome tales and the idea that they are true(cannibalism) makes a good man shudder. I just subbed but I have been listening to these stories for years now. I find it amazing that men had the presence of mind to translate and archive these wonderful stories so long ago. I remember having this book from the library when I was in middle school, it was called Scary stories to tell in the dark.

It was ok, but the last story was one called the Wendigo, it definitely left a lasting impression and scared the heck outta me!
