I'm a second year high school student in Japan. Dr. King is famous in Japan, and I just learned about him today in my school's English textbook.

It's a beautiful song, isn't it? I got goosebumps while listening to this music. So many memories.

Dr. King, was a man who opened the eyes of the people to the horror that was confronting people in his day and still confronts us today. I believe in Dr. King's dream, and I know that because of Dr. King, men, women and children, regardless of their race, color or creed, can be in the same workplace or the same school. Sure, man isn't perfect, but at least most of us learn from our mistakes. And at least we can say segregation is virtually non-existent in our nation today, so I join the many people in the 60s who saw segregation come to an end to say free at last, free at last! Thank God Almighty, we're free at last!

Last Wednesday, the 15th, would have been Dr. King's 96th birthday.
