the best part about NOT time traveling is that every night feels like christmas eve... like tonight i’m so stoked to wake up to my hard-earned third house expansion! i EARNED it and when i wake up it’ll be there all spacious and pretty... and i’ll be getting my first new resident too! and a museum for which i’ve been saving and hoarding like 40 specimens! i’ve been a very busy girl and playing by the rules in this game is the BEST!!!

I understand why people are time traveling, cuz this AC has one of the slowest startups. But I'm here for the trip, not just the rollercoaster.

Taking everything in day by day is a nice feeling to me.

Animal Crossing doesn’t last weeks or months. It lasts years! I’ve played every AC since the GameCube, and have played each one daily for a full year before ever missing a day.

Not even 5 minutes into the game and Tom nook already finds a way to get you in a debt trap.
He also gives you a tiny tent which is the bare minimum to survive the harsh wilderness.

It's the cocaine of gaming. I dream about Animal Crossing craving my next 5 minutes. Yes, I'm 39yrs old.

I respect how people play any single player game but time traveling in animal crossing just ruins it for me. Trust me the wait sucks but it really extends the play time and helps you stay interested. I like seeing how my relationships develop with the characters. I just Feel so much more accomplished than if I time travel.

Hardcore AC fan here: I agree, pre-prompts are so annoying!

I understand your desire to time travel. I’ve done it in earlier games here and there, but now I’m just doing hours of daily grinds for bells and materials. Part of the waiting is what makes it seem like all the work was worth it 👍

This is my first real go at A.C and I'm already at about 40 hours...this game is SOOOO addicting! The nook miles+ being infinitely rotating allows you to play as long as you want!

My mum is 60 years old and I bought her Animal Crossing on the release day. She thought she is not gonna like it because it’s “a kids game”. She has played over 200 hours in the past 4 weeks. Tutu is her favorite villager!

"I didn't know you can Sprint the first hour into the game."
Me 5 days into the game: "You can Sprint?"

The first day I had the game, a medical mask was available in the nook delivery thing.

This is probably your best video yet, Zach. It feels like I’m having a conversation with a genuine friend, rather than watching a video. The other dope camera angles and legitimate production value don’t hurt either😂 Can’t wait to see what you have next😁

(Also that part about Youtube... I felt that)

It just feels like having a little part time job, boot up and knock out my daily grind😝
