25 Waterfalls, Tikis & Mantas in the Marquesas Islands

Fellow boaters - I'm thrilled to share my latest project with you: MaintenanceROS! Crafted from my experiences aboard Starry Horizons, it's designed to simplify vessel and maintenance management, making life on the water even more enjoyable.

Our South Pacific adventure begins in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia. After making landfall in the stunning Bay of Virgins on Fatu Hiva, we went ashore and hiked to an incredible waterfall.

Next up was Hiva Oa where we made new friends with Gina and Jose from s/v Carthago and went on an epic search for Tikis. Our final stop in the Marquesas took us to Nuku Hiva where we got up close and personal with Manta Rays for the first time.

I don't know how I missed this video earlier but I am glad I found it! Pamplemousse is the French word for grapefruit. The Pomelo is apparently from where the grapefruit originated. Very tasty! Also, those little Suzukis will get you anywhere! Awesome vehicles.
