Paid holidays, sick time, retirement, health insurance, etc. Are u willing to give up your guarantee $$$ working 8-5 to make unlimited $$$ you chose to take off for holidays, sick time, health insurance, retirement etc. A lot of your audience are afraid to go "on their" because they just don't know how to do it. I’m 25 years old. My retired grandparents have just decided to give me $21K to buy my own used 24FT truck w/ a lift gate for $12K + commercial insurance & fix up the truck which has hardly any damages & low mileage. they’ve seen me working hard for the past 6 years & know I’m tired of working a W2 for others.
My goal is to acquire this truck & then make a solid amount of money to pay off a lot of bills, move into my own living space & rebuild my credit.
Later on down the road once I’ve hit these goals, I plan to venture off into my own business & get more trucks.

@biggvic, Definitely respect the wisdom...but I disagree regarding the rentals. I feel like rentals is a blessing because it gives you a feel for the market. I mean, if you start your mc with a rental box truck, one of two things gonna happen. Either you gonna get loads and make money or you not. If you get loads and make money, you on your way. A box truck is like $150 day, .22 cent a mile. If the rental cannot cover that then business strategy off. Unlike if you buy or lease a truck, you don't make money you stuck with them payments and fucked up credit. Whether rental or not, the box truck is the box truck...gonna make money or not. First strategy in business is believing in your plan and self.
