I have a little bit of money. The two really big mistakes I see people make-
1. They think of their car as a status symbol instead of a tool. Therefore, they buy the most expensive car they qualify for.
2. They spend too much on clothing- especially if it has labels.

Unfortunately, our western society is consumerist; it spends money on unnecessary things. We don't prioritize our basic needs, but we try to follow the trends instead. It is to be expected that some lack money to afford basic necessary stuff. I think the key to overcome our cliff-spending habits is to be aware of how much money we make currently, and then create such a budget on how much we're able to spend, and on what kind of things.

For me when I spend, it’s hard for things on the store and restaurant to grab my interest. If something meets my needs, I will buy it. For wants of item, it’s so difficult for something or restaurant to grab my interest. I already know what my mind wants, but sometimes my mind of pleasure tells me; it doesn’t match your qualification. I only buy the things on the market, if it assists me on my goals.

Personally, I don't agree with this 100% Not everyone that struggle with money overspend. As a matter of fact, for some, their finances cover only a fraction of their needs. While this was a good point, it's not the only point and covers a small fragment of reasons people are "broke" and unable to make their money work for them. Being financially literate is actually a bigger factor than what was mentioned. Thanks for the tips though.
