The thing that really hits me about this is the conformation that I'm not struggling alone. These past two years have been so isolating, and just to be reminded that I'm not the only one impacted me much more than I could have realized.

This made me cry. It has been a tough year for all of us. Many of us have never had to face anything close to the trials & tribulations that we had thrown at us in 2021. For me personally, I had a heart attack in July. As a retired RN, I sent many of my patients to the hospital to get treatment... an angioplasty & 3 stent placements. Never once did I imagine that one day, it would be me who would need that treatment. Take care of yourselves, my Brothers & Sisters. Know that you are not alone; we can make it to the other side, together.

As a nurse in the US, I contributed by vaccinating hundreds of Americans, and people, I’m Canadian. At the end of the day we need each other and for people to stop dying unnecessarily.

Sadly, I think the 'coming back' part is a little premature. We keep jumping the gun, wanting things to get back to normal so badly that we end up prolonging the difficulties. Right now, hospitals in the Midwest are at crisis levels. Doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals stretched to emotional breaking points. This Google ad wants to tie its story with a nice, positive ribbon at the end but we're far from that fantasy outcome.

Google should have included an apology for the role their recommendation algorithms played in helping spread conspiracy theories and cause a large percentage of the populace to go down a rabbit hole away from reality.

This was beautiful. One thing we all must remember above all - we are not alone! Even if it sometimes feels that way, if a helpline like The Samaritans is your only perceived connection to the world, there are more people who love you despite how it feels.

Sometimes it's hard to remember just how beautiful humanity is. We see corruption on a daily basis. We see people give in to conspiracies and hatred. And we soon believe that's all there is. And yet, there's still such beauty in the world. There's still so many beautiful moments. The corrupt would love to squash all of that, but they will never be able to.

I was not prepared for how emotional watching that was going to make me. I could feel everything in that video, from their pain to the reminders of my own. I’m so thankful that humanity is infinitely better than the media will ever portray. It’s not all shitty people doing shitty things, but that’s all we see, we are bombarded with that every day. I really wish media/news would start to feature more of what’s really going on in a positive, accurate, and factual light. People can handle the truth as long as we know it is. I’m glad I survived this whole situation, and so did many others. We have more to go but we can do better. We will make it, and keep sharing our light with the world. Be blessed ✨🙏🏽💕

Here in British Columbia, Canada, we have had an extremely rough year. Despite everything about pandemic, we got heat dome that killed 500+ people, Lytton got burnt down completely after a day setting the hottest temperature in Canada history, a super rare tornado touch down (thank god it was a weak one), 3 Cyclone bomb, Catastrophic flooding that caused a widespread flooding that stopped daily products, highways closed by washout and landslides, Lower mainland was complete cut off from the rest of Canada.
Climate change effect has never been as real and as destructive as it can be! Many have survived but there are so much has to be done not just for rebuilding, also to prepare for the worst to come in the future. All of that on top of the long lasting pandemic, we all feel tired and fatigue. Many are hanging on a thread to carry on, mentally I don't think most of us are well. If there is anything to cheer us up, it would be greatly appreciated~ 💗
