Beach Photoshoot and BTS with Kayla W || Sony A7iV + Sigma Art 24-70mm 2.8

Portrait photoshoot with the amazing Kayla Wallace. Kayla and I have done several shoots over the past couple years with eachother but I finally have a video of one of our shoots. It was beautiful summer weather in Vancouver and wanted to make use of it at the beach before the rainy season. I still think about the Italian beaches sometimes and wanted to do a look if I was able to shoot with a model when I was visiting. I wanted to do a simple clean look and then the shots with the big hat and BnW was a little last minute experiment with the texture of the seaweed in the background.

Kayla & her coffee. 🙂Love the simple beauty of your choices: color palette, lighting, movements, etc. There was such a lovely flow in her movements & the wind creating effects. The use of shadow & light was striking & it was fun to see both the video & still shots together. Thanks for sharing.
