HOWEVER IT IS A MORE ACCURATE WAY THAT PROVIDES AN IDEA OF WHEN ONE SHOULD EXPECT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INTERVIEW. Selected entrants are encouraged to complete the online DS-260 application immediately to schedule an interview appointment at the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate. More than 125,000 registered applicants were selected as Green Card Winners and can now submit their DS-260 Visa Immigration Applications.
Some of the first 125,000 persons who were selected are unlikely to continue with their visa issuance, which means all 55,000 DV-2023 numbers are set to be used in the 2023 fiscal year (Oct. 1, 2022, to Sept. 30, 2023). If you are one of the lucky Green Card Winners it is important you submit your DS-260 as soon as possible as there will be a maximum of 55,000 Green Cards available.

Thanks. Please the "key responsibilities" section of the form DS 260 is rejecting my entry, saying that special characters are not allowed. So I can't move on to the next section. It points out even commas, hyphens, parentheses and the period. Taking these out makes my entry meaningless. I don't know whether some other person is having a similar experience.
