Airbrush Marble Hacks!

Hiya Duck,

Today I’m going to be experimenting with an airbrush to create marble nail.

We’re going to start by applying two coats of eucalyptus to our tip as a background colour. I’m going to pick up my 4 rustic colours popping them on the nail with a meek aqua brush. Then I’ll use the airbrush to move those colours around and create this lovely marble effect. Using the brush from before we’ll open up some section so that background can pop through. Give it a cure and pop some gold leaf on for some dazzle, then top coat.

For the second nail we’re going to start with base coat, then apply our 4 colours to the top of nail and blowing them across the nail. Give them a cure, pop on some silver leaf and then double top coat .

I hope you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like, comment, and all that shebang.

T’rah DuckXOXO

I watch a lot of artists who do blow out art with acrylic paint and they use a hair dryer! The possibilities ARE endless!!!!

This reminds me of a few fluid art/resin art techniques. Mainly the dutch pour and the bloom technique. I bet you would have real success with some white and/or clear coat (base coat or top coat) in the mix. They tend to be really reactive. Meaning they cause what they call in the fluid art world "cells" or "lacing". That's what the effect you kinda got is called...I would love to see you bring some aspects of fluid/resin art to your art. I seen a cake art incorporated some fluid/resin art into her art and it was a beautiful mashup.
Thanks again for another wonderful video! 😘

This is amazing. Looks like acrylic pour painting. I've seen acrylic pour painters blow the paint too. Very pretty.

I think the purple one was my favorite. 😍😍😍 If you had added some iridescent or chameleon type of flakes, it would've looked more galaxy-ish. 😂

Both designs are beautiful, the second one reminds me of waves when they're breaking on the sand at low tide and the foam kind of separates, beautiful ad always!

This is a nice tutorial. I like the purple one better than the other one, because the purple is more marbled. But it’s nice to see you can do different things with just one tool.

I love how excited Adam got when he saw the colors come together. ❤ These kind of designs are so amazingly simple, and the possibilities are TRULY endless. And if you don't have an airbrush, you can do this with a straw as well. It doesn't spread the colors out quite as drastically, but it DOES work. I've done it both ways. Using a straw is definitely harder. Especially if you're a smoker. So pray that you have some powerful lungs or you'll be there for a minute. 😂 But seriously. You don't HAVE to have an airbrush to create this kind of marble. 😊 Although an airbrush would save you a lot of time, and spread the colors out more. And you don't need an expensive airbrush. I have one that I paid $160 for, but the cord disappeared 🙄 so I recently ordered one from AliExpress for less than $20 and it works just as well as the expensive one!
