Honestly I don't agree with sir, it is fact that next year cutoff will be obviously 94 percentile+, competition is increasing. No of students would be nearly 16L. So basically get ready to face situation like this, so if you're taking drop, you must know all this, don't cry if rank is unexpected and varies by thousands.

In next few year jee would be definitely turn into neet, with high cutoffs and no of students would be nearly 20L+ ☠️☠️

Got 99.4 in jan
99.09 in april
Only those who didnt study as much as they should give excuses like high cuttof
If you really are motivated and determined definetely go for drop

I respect mohit sir but ek baat mere juniors ko bolna chahuga jo bache sochte hai ki unko sirf nits mai entry or lower branch chl jaegi wo ek baar consider krle kyuki agr bache badh jaege to seats itni increase nhi hogi . Toh ho sakta hai next year 96 pr entry bhi na ho paaye nits mai .
And ye baat smjhdaarbbacho ke liye hai 11 th 12 th ke IIT BOMBAY CS hi lunga un bacho ke liye nhi ...

Mai kuch bolna chahunga yaha paar ki Mohit Tyagi sir bilkul shi bool rahe ki 10 hazar seats hi toh hai Aaj rahega aurr agle saal bhi rahega vo toh bache kamzor hai toh pichle saal 12 lakh bacho pe 96 percentile laaye aurr iss baar 14 lakh bacho pe 93 percentile laaye kyuki vo padhai kharab kiye the makari maare the isliye hua .... Mtlb 10, 000 seat is contant but selection ratio is decreasing year by year ( *This is what is difference* ) ... Meri galti hai ki Mai padha nhi dhang se jaabki Mai bahut acha aurr kaar sakta tha exam ke time bhi inactive raha but what I wants to say ki Mohit Tyagi sir bool rahe hai conclusion me ki sirf 100 opportunities hai bhale hi bache 10 hazar ho ya lakh koi matter nhi karta Kyuki bache ne makari maari isliye vo aisa bool rahe this is totally true but Mai apne dropper bhaiyo se bolunga ki drop lena but yeh Maan kaar chalna ki 99 percentile abhi ke average marks se +30/+40 badhke aayega ( considering paper is moderate to tough) yeh acceptance hai and you are ready to do hardwork then go with drop

Marks pe bhi to matter krta hai 150 marks pe last year 97-99%ile bn jati thi in moderate shift but ab 95%ile bnti hai due to high competi(shun!)
