He has a look on his face like he knows, he'll never be able to satisfy the folkies. When the crowd sings it back to him, I think he realizes at that moment he's at the very top and that can be a lonely place. Great acting and performance by Timmy and cast!

Elle Fanning and Edward Norton (just their eyes) are the ones that make this moment sublime.

There’s something about the way Edward Norton’s Pete Seeger looks up to the sky at the end of the song as if to say ‘what have we done to deserve the arrival of this prophet?’ - gets me every time I see it.

This scene is so successfull because it makes you feel like you listen to the song for the first time. Yesterday scene from the movie 'Yesterday' was also this beautiful in that regard.

I remember I had to choose between watching this or ‘Nosferatu’ for Christmas Eve and I’m so glad I saw this one first. This scene in particular, I got goosebumps in the theater. I was singing quietly but felt like others were as well. It reminded me of the Live Aid scene from Bohemian Rhapsody

Even though this wasn't really played at the 64 Newport folk festival, this scene captures the reality of Dylan's impact. This scene is more than a home run. The film makers knocked the ball out of the park with this scene. It's more electric than when dylan actually went electric!

Elle fanning acting in this scene is just phenomenal. There are all five stage of grief there in a few seconds, it's amazing.

Idk what it was about this scene maybe it’s just because I’ve heard this song a million times and was just waiting for it but man it hit home! Personally I think this movie deserved a lot more love.

The #1 song of ‘64 was “I wanna hold your hand”. Comparatively speaking can’t imagine hearing Poetry like this set to music for the first time. Minds blown.
