Pretty sweet setup Mark. You have all the power you need and a really good surplus. Thanks for sharing your experience with it.

Bringing a simple straightforward wind generator might also help. Perhaps as a power source, when it's overcast, or if it's a little windy to set up a solar panel. ✌️🇨🇦🇺🇸✌️

G'day Mark, just about perfect I'd say mate. But man, non-waterproof panels are a real downer makes me think about dust/dirt ingress too, as well as dew and internal condensation.
I wonder how they'd go with a sheet of clear builders plastic over the top ? May or may not effect solar collection, no idea to be honest ; ) though would keep them, and the power station on charge, (if not remote and otherwise undercover via cable), from being trashed during a rain event.
Personally, I'm not prepared to risk my vehicle battery, DC - DC gadget or not, unless I had a dual change over system, or perhaps traveling in convoy. I'll certainly be very interested to have a look at it though "try" to keep an open mind til then ; )
Cheers Duke.
P.S. you mentioned the different cables; I like idea of having two, especially with two power stations, though surly they need to be "directly" compatible for convenience, and more importantly, back up. i.e two is one and one is none ; ) Besides, why wouldn't ya just manufacture one for the relatively limited range of electrical properties in question, we aint talk'n kilo volt/amps here ; )

Would you mind recommending one or more knives to me? (will only buy one) Under 200 dollars, without syntethic materials or glue, for general bushcraft, a bit of whittling and if possible cutting meat thin for drying. Your videos and rhythm are very enjoyable and informational, much love from Norway.

I’ll be very interested to see what can make your car charge faster. Unless it’s just a brick for your gas pedal. 😀

The panels not being waterproof is a big disadvantage! That is something they should look into correcting. Other than that it looks like you have a great portable system. The key with solar is to plan energy usage and times wisely as well as only using what is needed.
