Cover your ears with a head ban. A tic was found in my ear . It was in my ear for a while. I had to go to the doctor to have it removed. I had swollen eyes and severe drainage from my nose.

Even better, have somebody else check you for ticks. There are some places that ticks and others see, that you don’t.

Just diagnosed with it, on antibiotics now. I had weird rash on abdomen and back eventually, severe pain in abdomen and center of back that didn’t show until couple weeks in. Now I’m on heavy antibiotics and pain pills fighting it👍

I have Lyme and I can’t get rid of it. I had the rash and Dr’s dismissed it because it looked like a bruise and said there’s no Lyme where I live.

I got sent home from work I was so red my boss thought I had Scarlett fever! I didn't but latter after working till I could not walk I was tested three times. Twice came back negative then finally came back possitive! To bad it wasn't found back in mid to late 60's when I told doctors my legs felt as though they were rotting from inside out! Wasn't diagnosed till 1996 or 1997. By then it was almost to late by the time it was found doctor said he didn't know when or if I would ever walk again! Its a horrible disease a lot of pain, acheyness, arthritis amongst other body problems! Allergic to everything so I can't really do anything but suffer through it. Spent 11-12 years in wheel chair and or crutches still can't be on legs long 10-15 minutes at a time!

The problem with wearing long pants and tucking in your shirt is you won’t feel ticks when they get on you, then they crawl up and bite somewhere where it’s hard to find them, like behind your ears. It’s easier to find ticks on bare legs before or after they bite. Check and brush off your legs and feet after walking through tall grass.

Can a tick bite make me allergic to water? Ive been unable to consume water or ice for the last 4 years. No swimming. To water in my mouth at all or i will black out or have a seizure. Wheat, corn, eggs and dairy now make my stomach bleed.

It was over night. I have had many longer term symptoms but this is the last straw.

If IgG/IgM Antibody Test is 0.72 does that mean exposure to Lyme disease at some point in ur life? I know it's a negative result, Im just curious if it indicates exposure?

Can ticks go unconscious after subject to brute force? I saw one crawling up to bite me and I decided it would be funny if I pinched one and flicked it in the head with my finger several times, and it was funny but then it stopped moving.
