I'm mid-way through installing the same Gila Tatanium on my apartment windows. I got 10 of 18 done. I can definitely feel the difference already. Thanks for the video!

I so wish I would have watched one of the more realistic videos before I installed this stuff. This video makes it look easy and it is NOT. It is a frustrating nightmare! Since I was installing it myself and don't have 3-4 hands, I was not able to spray the product as I separated it from the backing, so it actually attracts itself, sticks together like tape and is nearly impossible to get apart! Not to mention that when you do finally get it apart, the product is left with wrinkles that show up after installation.

One tip that I'm not sure you mentioned here that is important (I discovered) is to do it while the window is cool because otherwise you don't have much time to get the film stuck before the fluid dries.

Great vid. I've got 2 big trapezoid windows in my great room. When the sun is out it's like being in Krammer's apartment with the chicken roasters sign.

Is this going to be more popular than your garage door insulation video? haha

Is there any difference between the titanium heat control and the adhesive heat control?

Awesome. We live in Apex NC and my son's room is super hot from the sun pouring in through his windows. We'll have to go pick up some window film from the store very soon 👍

Great Video - really appreciate the tips. Any idea on the difference between the Titanium Gila Film vs Platinum? Thank you very much!

Thank you! That was helpful. I tried installing it and it is 1000% better to pre cut. I definitely wasted some film before stumbling on your video

Great video, and really useful. But did you ever consider just getting an awning for your windows? Much more effective to just keep the sun from over hitting your house

I have older windows and had to cut about 50 squares 😂

hey, I just want to check to see what you think about the film now? Any notable energy savings? Does the film still seem to be good quality? BTW, thanks again for the tips. I'll be doing a trial install sometime this week.

I thought you had to install the tint on the outside of the window, thanks for showing it can be done on the inside.

Definitely getting some of this stuff after seeing this. I've got a west facing window and my room gets so hot in the summer that a chocolate bar will melt from 20ft away 😅. Also gonna sub because I saw a miata 😂

Can you put window film on double pane e rated windows?

I think this film does not work on double windows? My windows started to heat up so high it made it worse, anyone else experienced that?

I just installed the Gila wt on two windows. After the second install i went back to first window and placed my hand on the tint. It was surprisingly very warm. I went to the untinted window to my left and it was noticably cooler? Extremely puzzled i grabbed my surface temp thermometer and tested temps at both locations. The tinted window was radiating a 10 degree higher temp than the non tinted window. I thought I was going crazy and checked the temps two more times. No difference. Theres only one way to place the tint on with "sticky" side to window face. I took the tint off because a 10 degree higher temp will radiate into the room and elevate temps. Very puzzled?

Even with those plantation blinds, the house gets heated? Also, now after one year what's your experience, is the film working as it should?
