This card is amazing, it's basically a conditional Nidhoggmon. Also pairs really well with Death Parade Blaster for wide boards.

The one in the front of the set is fighter mode, not paladin mode. Paladin mode is the result of fighter mode receiving power and the sword from omnimon

I find it kind of funny that you can have the Digimon Emperor being a tamer for Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, the founder of the Royal Knights

imperialdramon paladin mode is also important to digimon lore, as they founded the royal knights. and the effect that requires a level 7 white digi in trash to reduce the cost is a reference to the movie they appeared in

Looks like we will be getting Alphamon Ouryuken in Bt9 then.

Its basically confirmed with BT-9 being called "X-Record", which means it will probably feature a lot of X-Antibody Digimon.

My Guess is Alphamon Ouryuken and Death-X-Mon as level 7 Secret rares.

Gotta love them

I think you could end up with more than 4 uses if you can Jogress at the right points

Epic. This can take out an Armagemon, ... which makes sense.

16k makes sense considering Omnimon is a “material” in this combination (its data is basically uploaded into Imperialdramon Fighter Mode).

This card looks great, but one of my favourite thing about it is that they keep making cards with good skills that are great references to the shows and movies.

Paladin Mode only happens because in one of the movies Omnimon can't beat Armageddemon but as a last minute miracle it's power transfers to Imperialdramon via the Omni Blade. Now in the card game Armageddemon turns off level 7 digivolution skills, which was the first Omnimon's big counter to the Diaboromon strategy; but Paladin Mode gets around that by having it's second skill also go off when attacking. It's a good skill and a nice reference all in one!

It’s definitely good… but it also feels more hexeblau then imperial play style which is a shame

So... get an angemon, a magnamon and a submarimon and a shakkoumon. Use angemon and shakkoumon for recovery. Go for some jogresses via kimeramon/shakkoumon so you stack dual colored cards. Evolve into imperialdramon or azulongmon. Get a paladin with around 4 chances to use its attacking/digivolving skill.

And that's the version with yellow that allows you to recover for funsies. If you go the common imperialdramon way with paildra, dinobee, and the armors that can be equally as crazy (if you do not activate the imperialdramon's effect to play the lv4s from sources)

If you got starter deck or the fighter mode you could potentially use hidden potential and make that a 2 cost without needing a white in trash

This is such a weird way to do it, but it fits. All the Imperialdramon cards have been STUPIDLY expensive, especially the dual-color ones. I think the bigger issue is less how many dual-color cards you can stack and more just how the heck you can get to a 7 cost Ultra card without losing by giving your opponent way too many resources. Honestly, you probably only really need two dual-color cards a match, if you need to take out more than two full stacks then that's kind-of insane. This also works really well with Sora and Joe, which feels weird, but that card has always been an amazing tamer. It literally helps you achieve the bonus memory requirement super effectively, which could change this play from a one or two card wipe to a full-field wipe.

Honestly, it might be good to make a team of, say, the new Paildramon/Dinobeemon with the new Imperialdramon Dragon Mode and Fighter Mode as a sub Lv 6, and then you run Tobiumon, Colemon, and Apemon as Champions so you can evolve up a little easier and make up for the huge loads of Memory these forms cost.

Sure, it's neat to get a DNA Digivolution off, but if the big goal is just to get Paladin Mode going then it's easier to just pay 1 memory and then do the 4 cost for 5 total than it is to pay 2 memory and then hope you can draw another Champion just to get the same thing at the same price. Just feels a little more consistent, even though you're losing an ability for it. Although I guess just doing the new Exveemon and Stingmon just to hope for the play isn't too bad either just in-case you can get the evolution off or draw Raidramon for an easy evolution? It's... odd. It's very odd.

And then once that's set, either Ultimate or Mega would give you good effects. Heck, Fighter Mode just gives you a really good removal skill and lets you suspend/attack someone, so as long as you can control the field anyways then you can probably get things going enough to get Paladin Mode out. This archetype is super weird but it's kind-of nutty how well it feels like it should work despite being super odd overall.

If you jogress, you’ll have 2 lv4’s, which this evolution line encourages
